As an organization, Terre Haute Premier/VCYSA must work to maintain a predictable financial model and, equally important, a positive experience for every Travel Player. To help ensure that these two goals are met, Terre Haute Premier/VCYSA will only grant refunds of the Terre Haute Premier/VCYSA Travel Club fee in clearly defined circumstances:
There are no refunds once a player has accepted their position on a team.
Exceptions are made for injuries before mid-season. Refunds are prorated with a $120 fee. Any player that suffers a significant injury or medical condition that will prevent the player from playing is eligible. Appropriate documentation and a letter from the players’ physician will be required.
Exceptions are also made for a player that moves outside of a 50-mile radius of Vigo County, minus fees that the club has already paid.
The balance of the tuition fees outside of the ‘initial fee’ are also non-refundable unless there is one of following special circumstances, of which the validity will be reviewed by the Director of Soccer Operations:
- A U8-U14 player moves more than 50 miles outside of Vigo County, IN. i) If the players tuition has been paid in full, a refund minus the deposit and months already played will be processed. Ii) If the player is on an installment plan, all future scheduled payments will be canceled.
- A U15-U19 player moves more than 50 miles outside of Vigo County, IN. i) If the players tuition has been paid in full, a refund minus the deposit and months already played will be processed. If the player moves prior to November 1st, all payments minus the deposit will be refunded. Ii) If the player is on an installment plan, all future scheduled payments will be canceled. If the player moves before November 1st, all payments minus the deposit will be refunded.
- A U8-U19 player suffers a long term (4 months or longer) injury. i) If the players tuition has been paid in full, a refund minus the deposit and months already played will be processed. If a U15-U19 player is injured before November 1st, all payments minus the deposit will be refunded. Ii) If the player is on an installment plan, all future scheduled payments will be canceled. If a U15-U19 player is injured before November 1st, all payments minus the deposit will be refunded.
RECREATIONAL SOCCER - no refunds will be given.
